All members of Mountain West Country Music Association enjoy Basic Benefits such as:

Pro Artist membership is reserved for those extremely professional working artists who are vetted and validated by the MWCMA. Pro Artist applications will be reviewed and processed by MWCMA Board of Directors on a quarterly basis. If approved, Pro Artists will serve as mentors to other membership types, have opportunities to partner with the Association for paid performances, and will form the backbone of the performance artists at MWCMA music festivals and events. These members are eligible for all awards nominations and will have full voting rights for MWCMA Annual Awards. Other benefits will include:

• Dedicated features in MWCMA newsletters, blogs and social media campaigns
• Inclusion in MWCMA music playlists on various platforms
• Entry into Pro Artist Members-only forum and access to group discussions
• Sponsorship opportunities in conjunction with MWCMA corporate partnerships
• Podcast, radio and television marketing opportunities
• Periodic top placement in the online artist portfolio with in depth band profile including video clips, music and tour dates
• Priority booking at MWCMA sponsored paid performance opportunities

Artist membership is open to any country or western music artist that performs on a regular, professional basis. Artists will have priority for attendance at all MWCMA educational seminars and retreats and will have voting rights for Members Choice Awards. Additional benefits include:

• Members-only forums and discussion boards
• Inclusion in basic online directory
• Eligibility for MWCMA Music Awards nominations
• Formalized mentorship from Pro Artists

This membership type is reserved for professionals who either support the country music industry, or generate their primary income from their partnership with musicians. Examples include venue owners, gear manufacturers, professional sound engineers, label owners, etc…. These members will have voting rights for Members Choice Awards in addition to other benefits such as:

• All basic benefits
• Business featured in online industry partner directory
• Members-only forums and discussion boards
• Priority branding and promotional opportunities at MWCMA events and festivals
• Go-To preferred business status for service utilization in support of MWCMA events

Associate Members are those who are personally invested in supporting the country music scene in the Mountain West Region of the United States. Examples could include fans, friends or family members of musicians, or artists/industry members of parallel genres. Associate Members will enjoy all basic membership benefits and will have voting rights for Members Choice Awards. 

Any person, aged 16 or older who is actively engaged in a full-time educational pursuit in the fields of music, sound production, music business management, or the like will be eligible for a no-charge annual membership. Student Members will enjoy all basic membership benefits and will have voting rights for Members Choice Awards.
